Typical use costs €1.20 per fill, including filters, with a carbon footprint of 1.03 g CO₂e per fill.
Filter replacement intervals are based on the actual condition of the filters and your site’s water quality rather than a fixed schedule, and the starter kit includes both filters in the price.
The carbon footprint is documented cradle-to-grave per tablet; a summary is available as a PDF, with the full LCA report available on request.

How to switch from chemicals
If you are coming from conventional cleaning chemicals, there is usually residue in the machine and on the floor after years of use. It has to break down before the result settles. That normally takes about a week — and we say so in advance, so you know what you are looking at.
1. Clean the machine
Empty and rinse the clean-water and waste-water tanks, rinse the filter and squeegee, and replace the pad when needed.
2. The reset week
For 5-7 fills, dose according to tank size. Where the site has had heavy chemical use, it can take longer.
3. Daily operation
After that, one tablet per fill, whatever the tank size. Once the old residue is broken down there is nothing left to break down — and one tablet is enough. That is what keeps the daily cost low and predictable.
What to expect in the first week
Three things surprise people if they are not said in advance:

It does not smell of cleaning product. Conventional cleaning signals clean through fragrance. We have removed the signal, not the cleaning.

The gloss can look different at first, while the old detergent film breaks down.

The result settles gradually through the reset week — not from the first fill.
After that the cleaning is consistent, whoever fills the tank.

Two ways to keep your operation running:
Refill Kit
OwnBio® tablets and filters are delivered automatically based on your usage and site conditions, helping ensure you never run out and filters are replaced before they affect the machine. Filters are included, and for a single machine, the starter kit typically lasts until the first delivery.
You order tablets and filters as you need
OwnBio® tablets are sold in packs: 6 jars of 60 tablets, 360 per pack. Filter sets are ordered individually.
