This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed by Green Berry Oy (hereinafter referred to as "Green Berry") in connection with the website ownwell.fi and the Ownwell® service concept (collectively, "services"). Personal data refers to data that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a person.

 

In this data protection statement, we explain what personal data we collect from service customers and other service users and how personal data is used. The data protection statement also explains how the data subject can influence the processing of personal data by using their statutory rights.

 

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the national data protection legislation in force at any given time.

3 WHOSE INFORMATION DO WE PROCESS AND IN WHAT ROLE?

We process the personal data of the contact persons of the customers of our service and of potential new customers who contact us through the website or other channels.

 

In addition, the personal data of our customers' employees or entities that provide them with cleaning services are processed in the event that they contact us with questions related to the service, for example. The customer is responsible for processing the personal data of such persons as the data controller, while Green Berry acts as the personal data processor.

 

If the person does not have a direct customer relationship with Green Berry, he should contact his employer/contractor in matters concerning personal data.

4 WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?
​

We process the personal data of customers' contact persons and entities that provide them with cleaning services in order to provide our service and maintain customer relations. We receive personal data directly from registered users or our customers.

 

Personal data processed include, for example:

  • name

  • profession/role in the client company

  •  email address

  •  phone number

In addition to the information we receive directly from customers and registrants, we may process technical information that is classified as personal information. Such information includes, for example, IP address, browser type and its version, site links and their use (including going to our site, going to other parts of our site and moving between different sections of our site). This kind of information is used to solve possible problem situations and to develop the service and improve the quality.

5 WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?
​

We only use the information to manage customer relationships and develop our service. We do not share any personal data with third parties, with the exception of those authorized service providers who provide us with services (such as Infrastructure and IT service providers).

 

The servers of Green Berry service providers are physically located within the EU. Data is not transferred outside the EU.

6  HOW LONG DO WE KEEP INFORMATION?
​

We keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose defined in this data protection statement, unless the legislation requires the data to be kept longer.

 

When personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, the information is permanently deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time. The length of the storage period depends on the purpose of use of the information.

 

Information related to sales is kept for at least 10 years due to statutory accounting obligations.

7 SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. We have in place administrative, structural, technical and physical protection mechanisms to protect the personal data we process from unauthorized access and alteration, disclosure and destruction.

8 REGISTRANT RIGHTS

Registrants have the rights described in this paragraph in accordance with the data protection regulation to submit requests or demands. If necessary, we will ask for additional information to verify the identity of the requester.

 

The registrant can exercise his rights by contacting us, the contact information can be found at the beginning of this privacy statement. The request must be submitted in writing and must contain sufficient information to enable us to verify the identity of the registered person. The request must also be sufficiently individualized and targeted so that we can implement it. We ask for more information if necessary.

 

Green Berry has the right to refuse to fulfill such requests that are obviously unfounded or unreasonable, especially if such requests are made repeatedly. Alternatively, we have the right to charge a reasonable fee for the measures, which is based on the costs of implementing the request.

 

The right to access and correct information

The registered person has the right to receive information about which personal data we process about him and how, or confirmation that we do not process the data. In addition, the data subject has the right to have inaccurate or incorrect information corrected.

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") and restriction

The registered person has the right to demand that we delete (or anonymize) personal data or limit their processing. If we have a legal reason to refuse the request, we will inform the data subject of this.

The right to transfer the data to another system

The registered person has the right to receive the personal data that he has provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transfer the data in question to another data controller. The processing of the transferred personal data must be based on consent or an agreement, and the data processing must be automatic.

The right to withdraw your consent

If the data subject has given consent to certain personal data processing, the data subject can  withdraw consent at any time.

The right to object to the processing of your personal data

The registered person has the right to object to the processing of personal data for certain purposes (such as direct marketing).
